These are the famed Sewaholic Thurlow pants! I made these so long ago, and every time I tried to get a photo something went wrong.
They are made from wool blend fabric purchased from the remnant warehouse many months ago $30 for the whole piece. Out of this huge piece of fabric I got these pants and enough to make a practice leg as I had trouble with the welt pockets. Though the pockets turned out ok in the end.
Because nearly all sewists are cat people I dragged Peanut in to this pic.
I made a muslin but didn’t need to make any mods. Once made I did take a some of the fullness out of the legs from the thigh down. They are great and I plan on making more pairs. Perhaps – a pair out of a drill?
This weekend hopefully I’ll get a chance to make more pants, as I desperately need more for work.
