Yes its been ridiculously hot in Sydney lately, and my sewing room has literally become a sweatshop while I have been sewing softies. Today these little guys headed off to their interim home at Shorties in Newtown.
They are super cute aren’t they!

So back while we were away after finishing these cross stitches I decided to do more. I started thinking about Robots and designed and stitched this.
I was so pleased with it… its even cuter in person… that I wrote it up as a pattern.
The PDF pattern features a complete chart with colour guide, and separate charts for all 26 letters of the alphabet so that you can monogram it for your little one.
It also has instructions for cross stitching if you’ve never cross stitched before.
It along with Moby is available in my Etsy shop.

This week I’m working on Christmas stockings (good grief) and Robots.
This weekend my creative space is going to go through a major overhaul. At the moment it is so untidy and nothing is laid out well. I can’t find anything! So I think I need to rearrange things. I hope to post some pictures of a reinvigorated space next week. I think I’ll also be doing some destashing and I’ll be having a giveaway next week, so stay tuned.

The first of a batch of six varied robots. At the moment all my robots have blue eyes… I’m not sure why, perhaps it reminds me of my blue eyed boys.
My newest batch of owls including Maude in mauve corduroy with My Folklore wings.
I’m madly sewing this week as a selection of my softies are to be displayed at a local cafe at the end of this week.
Hopefully I’ll have more Robots and things to show tomorrow.

I absolutely cannot get motivated to do much today.
The housework has languished
My sewing has been minimal- mind you I will be posting pics of completed Robot softies for the shop
Hamish and I have had lots of fun playing today, and Cadel is at Kindy.
I just watched the new Chanel No. 5 commercial on Poppytalk, it looks so beautifully shot and I am a big Audrey Tautou fan.

This week has been incredibly busy…
I just resigned from my job after being on maternity leave for 11 months
I visited this lovely store. They will be selling a couple of my softies, a brown owl (not the crafty kind though), and my robot.
I opened my etsy store.
And we did a photoshoot of my softies in the front yard (getting some strange looks from the neighbours)
All good things really
and to top it all off I have just found out that I will be able to go to Finders Keepers tomorrow evening while Dan looks after the boys. yay
