The super sweet Jess tagged me (yay), to tell 5 things that make me feel fabulous/ sexy/ beautiful. She posted her five here. So here’s mine:
1. Frilly underwear (enough said really)
2. My son Cadel telling me I look pretty
3. Getting to an age where I have learnt to feel good in my own skin.
4. My newish skinny jeans.
5. My lovely husband Dan

Well hi there, sorry for the blog hiatus. I’ve been struggling a bit with our sickly kids, a little family drama, and everyday life. Roll on summer I say! Other than that I’ve been really busy with sewing, replenishing my stock after some recent sales. Hopefully I’ll have some pictures to show over the next few days. I also have some new fabric coming this week, which is terribly exciting, and I have already started stalking the postie.

On Sunday I visited Eveleigh Artisans Market which was lovely. I showed great restraint and only bought a couple of these fantastic bags from Jess. Though I bought them to save my handbag from the numerous amounts of sultanas that seem to pool in the bottom, Cadel has already adopted one as his own and filled it with Thomas engines.

I can’t believe it, my littlest baby is 1! The last year has flown by (at times very roughly), mind you it seems to be settling down now.

Hamish has completed our little family, and seeing him and Cadel play together always my brightens my day. Hamish is such a funny little boy, determined, naughty, boisterous, and oh so cuddly. He has shining blue eyes and an amazing ability to laugh, talk, and cry without his dummy ever leaving his mouth.

Thankyou all so much for the lovely birthday wishes, it really made my day.
I was a fairly quiet day yesterday visiting family and hanging out with my boys, and Dan made me poached eggs with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce for breakfast (yum).

I just took this picture of Cadel which I had to share. He was so insistent at nap time that he didn’t want a sleep. However an hour later he asks for “cowie, blankie and special cushion” which he always sleeps with, next thing I know he is asleep on the couch.
Anyhow I’ll pop in later to do My Creative Space.

Well hi there! Today is my birthday, I won’t tell how old I am but I will say that next birthday is a big one. To my family who read this I want one of these- so start saving.
I’ll be giving away two mystery fat quarters (they will be good ones though I promise) to celebrate. This giveaway is for purely selfish reasons as I really enjoyed the last giveaway.
To enter tell me something you wish to accomplish in the next year (it could be anything, something practical or more abstract). I will draw on Monday 22nd of June at 10am (Sydney time) and entries are open internationally until then.

We are all sick. (AGAIN) I am so over it! Poor little Cadel was throwing up today and Hamish is pretty whiny. Dan and I aren’t much better. So needless to say there hasn’t been a lot done lately. Sadly tomorrow was going to be my sewing day, oh well.
A box of my softies was sent down to my inlaws in Bega who sold them today at the Candelo Markets along with their homegrown veggies, and jam. I’m pretty chuffed.
I’m looking forward to drawing the giveaway winner at 10 on Tuesday morning. I’ll accept entries right up until I draw the winner.
Well I’m off to blow my nose about 20 times and then to bed.

I absolutely cannot get motivated to do much today.
The housework has languished
My sewing has been minimal- mind you I will be posting pics of completed Robot softies for the shop
Hamish and I have had lots of fun playing today, and Cadel is at Kindy.
I just watched the new Chanel No. 5 commercial on Poppytalk, it looks so beautifully shot and I am a big Audrey Tautou fan.

Popped into Quiltsmith at Annandale today. It was a super quick visit with two tired and grumpy boys. I left with these goodies…

Remembering my babies when they were tiny, they are growing so fast.
