Well hi there, sorry for the blog hiatus.  I’ve been struggling a bit with our sickly kids, a little family drama, and everyday life.  Roll on summer I say!  Other than that I’ve been really busy with sewing, replenishing my stock after some recent sales.  Hopefully I’ll have some pictures to show over the next few days.  I also have some new fabric coming this week, which is terribly exciting, and I have already started stalking the postie.

On Sunday I visited Eveleigh Artisans Market which was lovely.  I showed great restraint and only bought a couple of these fantastic bags from Jess.  Though I bought them to save my handbag from the numerous amounts of sultanas that seem to pool in the bottom, Cadel has already adopted one as his own and filled it with Thomas engines.

We are all sick. (AGAIN) I am so over it!  Poor little Cadel was throwing up today and Hamish is pretty whiny.  Dan and I aren’t much better.  So needless to say there hasn’t been a lot done lately.  Sadly tomorrow was going to be my sewing day, oh well.

A box of my softies was sent down to my inlaws in Bega who sold them today at the Candelo Markets along with their homegrown veggies, and jam.  I’m pretty chuffed.

I’m looking forward to drawing the giveaway winner at 10 on Tuesday morning.  I’ll accept entries right up until I draw the winner.

Well I’m off to blow my nose about 20 times and then to bed.

Hey folks,

We had a pretty quiet weekend spent catching up on housework and with family.  I was fortunate enough to go to Finders Keepers without my children on Friday night… Bliss.

I met Amy, and admired her fabulous softies.  She gave me some stickers which Cadel loved when I got home…  ”ippo another ippo” he kept saying.   And I showed great restraint only purchasing two things; a lovely scarf and fabric panel from Aunty Cookie.

Not sure what I’ll make out of the fabric panel.  I am thinking about cushions but I want to make slipcovers for the couch first, and that is hardly top of my sewing list.  YIKES

Anyhoo hope you all are having a lovely Monday, I am off to make a roast chook for tea.
