This is my 100th post. Blogging has given me so much, and (trying not to be too corny) has provided me with such inspiration. Thankyou all for reading and commenting over the last few months, I can’t tell you how much it means to me, and helps me with my work.
And so to the giveaways….
There will be four prizes
the first will be a whopping 8 random fat quarters and a bobbin sorting case
the second and third will a scrap bag each filled with largish fabric scraps and remnants (and whatever else takes my fancy)
The first 3 prizes will be drawn randomly on Wednesday the 18th of November 2009 at 8.30 pm Sydney time. Entry is open internationally. To enter, leave a comment on this post. For an extra entry blog, tweet, or facebook about this giveaway, but be sure to link back to me and let me know in your comment.
The fourth is open specifically to members of the ‘The Two Windmills supporters group’ on facebook. and the prize will be one of the soft toys available in my shop (your choice). This will be drawn on the 25th of November 2009.
good luck
Rachel
And the winner is Karin from The Mrs. Karin could you email your address to me at the2windmills@gmail.com, I’ll put your fat quarters in the post. I’d love to see pics of what you make with them.
Today I am planning a peaceful day sketching new softie designs and writing a pattern which I am hoping to share soon.

Well last week was such a big one! I did intend to post on Kirsty’s my creative space but I’m afraid it didn’t happen. Between my birthday and surprisingly smooth trip to Ikea Thursday and Friday were write-off’s. And I completely forgot to post on post about lovely Lucy receiving Oliver.
My parents gave me money for my birthday, and it was so lovely to do some major guilt-free purchasing. My sister in law says I have a problem. Perhaps there should be some sort of a support group.
So I’m sure you’re all interested to see my purchases
From Remnant Warehouse and Quiltsmith
I bought the last of the roll of the Tweedle Dee Blooms in Jam (the middle one).

Also I have been meaning to post pictures of the beginnings of strip pieced MoMo Wonderland blocks. I’m hoping to get more of this done at The Craft Room next Sunday.

I’m hoping to make a major dent into these fabrics this week.

PS. have you entered my giveaway I’m drawing it on Monday.

Well hi there! Today is my birthday, I won’t tell how old I am but I will say that next birthday is a big one. To my family who read this I want one of these- so start saving.
I’ll be giving away two mystery fat quarters (they will be good ones though I promise) to celebrate. This giveaway is for purely selfish reasons as I really enjoyed the last giveaway.
To enter tell me something you wish to accomplish in the next year (it could be anything, something practical or more abstract). I will draw on Monday 22nd of June at 10am (Sydney time) and entries are open internationally until then.
Rachel
Having a giveaway was so much fun. Thankyou to all who entered, and those who linked back to me. I wish I could let you all win.
Unfortunately there can only be one winner. And the winner of the Blue Owl and mystery fat quarter is Lucy who commented “Wow- I’d love to enter! And I’ve linked back to my blog too. How is it that I only just discovered your blog? It’s fabulous. You are sooooo going on my sidebar!”.
To those of you who missed out I am planning another giveaway in a week and a half to celebrate my birthday, so keep checking back.

We are all sick. (AGAIN) I am so over it! Poor little Cadel was throwing up today and Hamish is pretty whiny. Dan and I aren’t much better. So needless to say there hasn’t been a lot done lately. Sadly tomorrow was going to be my sewing day, oh well.
A box of my softies was sent down to my inlaws in Bega who sold them today at the Candelo Markets along with their homegrown veggies, and jam. I’m pretty chuffed.
I’m looking forward to drawing the giveaway winner at 10 on Tuesday morning. I’ll accept entries right up until I draw the winner.
Well I’m off to blow my nose about 20 times and then to bed.

Well its finally that time. I have been promising a giveaway, and here it is. Blogging about my craft, and meeting all of you via blogging has meant so much to me, and been so inspiring to my creativity.
To thank you all I will be giving away one of my blue Oliver Owls. I will also throw in a surprise fat quarter.
To enter simply comment on this post. For an extra entry mention it on your blog with a link back here (please also mention that you will do this when commenting).
The winner will be drawn on Tuesday 9th June 2009 at 10am (Sydney Australia time) and will be announced later that day via this blog.
Entry is open internationally.
Good luck!
